Shane Deppe, 41, passed away October 27, 2009 at a home from an extended illness. He was born September 11, 1968 the son of Lloyd and Vicky Deppe. He was raised and educated in Pocatello. Shane worked as a firefighter for Job Corps as a teenager. He married Kristy A. Whittier in Pocatello and they have two children, Randall and Collin. Shane loved to drive trucks, especially Kenworth and Peterbuilt, anything but a Volvo. He drove for Snake River Cattle, Denrose Distributing, H L Farms, RiverBend Express and Western Rock. He liked to hunt, fish and go camping if there was fishing and hunting involved. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He also liked the Sci-fi channel. He is survived by his wife, Kristy Deppe, sons, Randall and Collin Deppe, all of Chubbuck, father, Lloyd Deppe, Pocatello, mother, Vicky Deppe, Kuna, ID, brother, Shawn Deppe and grandmother, Dorothy Deppe, both of Pocatello. He is also survived by many loving aunts, cousins, nieces, a nephew and his dog, Peaches. Shane was preceded in death by his grandparents, Weaver and Nettie Douglass and Floyd Deppe, his aunt, Esther Simpson-Turner and uncle, Tommy Douglass. Memorial services were held Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4^th Ave, Pocatello.
