Seth Quick

Seth Oliver Quick, 45, left this earthly life too early on Thursday, January 30, 2025, in Pocatello, Idaho.

Seth was born to Arthur Craig and Bobette McBride Quick on October 19, 1979, in Pocatello, Idaho. He was born into a large and loving extended family where he thoroughly enjoyed playing with his many cousins and siblings. Seth especially enjoyed tormenting his little sister, Jody.

His hobbies were camping, hunting, snowboarding, riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers and enjoying Idaho’s rugged outdoor life. Seth loved to bake and was always perfecting the beloved Mrs. Field’s chocolate chip cookie recipe. Many that knew him benefited from Seth’s baking talent. Seth was an avid Vikings fan and his second favorite color, after blue, was purple. Seth could put together any thing without instructions. He also enjoyed a good joke as well as the next guy. However, anyone who knew Seth knew he absolutely loved his daughters, Arya and AJ. They were his entire world.

Seth is preceded in death by his Grandmother and Grandfather Quick and Grandfather McBride.

He is survived by his daughters Arya Peggie Quick and Aurora Joy “AJ” Quick, parents A. Craig and Bobette Quick; siblings Jody (TJ) O’Dell, Jason (Sarah) Quick, Trent (Amanda) Quick; Grandmother JoAnn McBride; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

The family shares a special thanks to all who have shown their love and support during these difficult times, especially our family and friends.

Seth will be deeply missed.

A celebration of life will be held for Seth on Monday, February 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Wilks Funeral Home (211 W. Chubbuck RD). A visitation will be held the hour prior. There will be cookies served in the reception area following Seth’s celebration of life.
