Seth Jennings

April 7, 1998 — April 12, 2017

Seth Aaron Jennings was born on April 7th 1998 in Reno, Nevada at Washoe Medical Center to his father Frank Jennings of Long Beach, California and his mother Carey (Hunt) Jennings of Holmen, Wisconsin. Seth walked into the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ on April 12, 2017 at the age of 19. Seth was preceded in death by his grandmother Bonnie Jennings born in Oklahoma and his grandfather Roy Jennings of Long Beach California.

Seth is survived by his parents, Frank Jennings and Carey Jennings, his stepmother Gina Jennings, his grandparents Carey and Jack Hunt, and his step-grandparents Larry and Alta Cornelison along with his siblings Jordan Hunt, Hannah Jennings, Danielle Jennings, Josiah Jennings, Marcus Jennings and Tristin Dean. He attended Chubbuck Elementary, Hawthorne Middle, and both Pocatello High School and New Horizons High School.

Seth's passion was parkour and he made the world his playground. Seth found peace in the wilderness, yet thrived on all the parkour opportunities of the city. Seth loved the outdoors and especially the beaches of southern California, the Sierra Nevada Mountains around Lake Tahoe, and the upper Mississippi River in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Seth was a kind young man that only wanted those around him to treat each other with respect and to enjoy each other's company.

Seth was a free thinker, he had no problem seeking the truth regardless of how rejected it might be by the world's views. Seth had a strong compassion for his friends and peers. He wanted people in this world to care more about others than themselves, and he lived by this belief. Seth spent endless hours with his friends and he loved his dear sweetheart Emillie Lindstrom. Seth accepted Jesus Christ as his savior at a young age and rededicated his life in his late teens when he fully understood the free gift of salvation through Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection. Just about a month before his passing he talked about the possibility of pastoring a church someday.
Seth will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and everyone who knew him. He was a beautiful soul that we all were proud to call their son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend.

His funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at 2:00pm at Wilks Funeral Home at 211 W. Chubbuck Rd, Chubbuck, Idaho, with Seth's Youth Pastor, Robert Farnsley of Gate City Baptist Church officiating. A viewing will be held from 6-8:00 PM, Tuesday and one hour prior to the services.
