Scott Michael Bell

Scott Michael Bell, 54, passed away after his battle with ALS on May 15, 2024.

Scott Michael Bell, known to many as “Scooter” was born to Rea and Fred Bell November 12, 1969 in Pocatello Idaho. Scott attended Gate City Elementary, Franklin Junior High and graduated from Highland High School in 1988. Scott played football for Highland

High and after graduating enjoyed playing softball, basketball, and rugby with the city of Pocatello.

Scott met Stacy Giles in 1988 and they had two children, a daughter Staija and a son Josh. Scott and Stacy parted ways and then on May 10, 1997 Scott married Sabrina Dye and the two of them had two daughters, Brooklyn and Kianya. Scott and Sabrina parted ways and then Scott met Nicole Stotts in 2011 and they became forever fiancés.

Scott enjoyed camping, hunting, playing pool, playing poker, and most of all fishing with all his family and friends.

Scott is survived by his parents Fred and Rea Bell, daughter Staija & Matt Perrenoud, son Josh and Bri Bell, daughter Brooklyn Bell, daughter Kianya Bell, brother Dustin & Terri, brother Casey & Kristie, and his forever fiancé Nicole Stotts.

Scott has 4 granddaughters and 2 grandsons.

Scott is preceded in death by his grandparents Earl & Vesta Bell and Oliver & Cora Barfuss.

In true Scott fashion we are asking everyone to please dress casually and if you would like to wear something either green, yellow, purple or of a fishing nature it would be appreciated.

A viewing will be on Thursday May 23, 2024 from 10:00am – 12:00pm which will be followed by a funeral ceremony from 12:00pm – 1:00pm. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 2:00pm – 3:00pm at the Lava Hot Springs Cemetery.
