Scott David Worth

Scott David Worth, 63, of Pocatello, ID passed away August 22, 2021. Scott was born on the fourth of July 1958 to Ben and Connie Worth. Scott was the youngest (and favorite) of 5 siblings: Ronda and (Jack) Bergstedt, Quincy and (Ralph) Thornton, Ben and (Nancy) Worth and Lundy Facer. Scott was affectionally known as Scooter to the family. A natural salesman, when moving into a new neighborhood, he would go door-to-door asking if there were any kids to play with.

Scott attended school in Pocatello graduating from Poky High in 1976. Scott’s friendships lasted his lifetime, and he cherished all the good times he had with them. Scott graduated from ISU with a degree in Marketing. His most proud achievement was running his own business, Worth Marketing. He was disciplined and worked hard to make it a success. There was only one company he would give it up for and when they reached out to him, he took the position as Territory Manager for PPI.

Scott married Joni Krebs in 1989 and had one daughter, Kevi. Together they had many adventures a favorite being Hawaii. Many walks around Bench Road were taken nightly and camping at the Father-child Camp-a-thon at Wildhorse. This tradition continued until the children were grown.

A shout out to those at Bannock Civitan where he made many new friends and enjoyed ISU football tailgating parties and helped organize the Camp Taylor clean-up for several years.
Scott was an avid skier, fly fisherman and garage organizer. He mirrored his Uncle Jack’s garage and organizational skills and his garages became legendary.

Scott is survived by his wife, Joni; daughter, Kevi; sisters, Quincy and Lundy; and brother, Ben. Also, three grandchildren: Landen, Noah and Jovi; and many nieces and nephews who will miss their “funny” Uncle Scott. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Ronda.

No formal services are scheduled. There will be several memorials that will be scheduled at a later date.
