Sandra Poston

Sandra Poston, 67, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 23, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 22, 1949, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Elwin and Maxine Call. She was the seventh of seven children. She was raised in Pocatello, and attended Pocatello High School. She married Randy Pierson in 1968, they later divorced. In 1977, she married the love of her life, Ed Poston. They spent 38 wonderful years together. Sandy worked several jobs over the years, including waitressing and bartending. She loved being around people. She loved bowling, camping, fishing and dancing. Her family was her life and she looked forward to our annual family reunion. She loved spending time with her children, grandkids and great-grandkids. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ed; parents, Elwin and Maxine Call; brothers, Dellis, Dennis, Ron and Ken; sister, Ada; and a granddaughter, Angeleah. She is survived by her sister, Judy Humphrey; sons, Allan (Tresia) Pierson, Rich (Gean) Pierson, and Eddley Poston; stepchildren, Jim (Pattie) Poston, Vanessa Meyer, and E.J. Poston; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Heritage Home Health and Hospice, nurses Jeralyn and Annetta, for their loving care of mom in her final days. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 2 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID.
