Sandra Lee Hieb

CHUBBUCK " Sandra Lee Scott Hieb, 67, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away from complications of cancer, on the morning of September 25, 2008 at her home and surrounded by her family.

Sandra was born the oldest of eight children on January 31, 1941 to Ruth Francis (Hawks) and David Lamond Scott in Blackfoot, Idaho. She was raised and educated in the Thomas / Pingree area, and graduated from Snake River High School in 1959. The following year, she moved to Pocatello and attended Idaho State University for two years.

Sandra married her sweetheart and the love of her life, Charles L. Hieb on September 25, 1964. Together they raised three lovely children; Stephani, Devin, and Heidi.

Over the years, Sandra became fondly recognized by her employment with: Ross Park Drive-In, Kress's, Montgomery Ward, Osco-Buttrey, Skaggs, and for twenty years she worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Ed Snell's Pharmacy until her retirement. She served as Representative of State Pharmacist's Association for Pharmacy Technicians.

Sandra enjoyed camping, tole painting, homemaking, taking pictures, and especially being with family and friends. In her earlier years, she loved bowling and playing softball.

Sandra is survived and will be dearly missed by her mother, Ruth Francis Scott, Riverside, ID; husband, Charlie Hieb, Chubbuck,ID; children, Stephani (Ken) Lowry, Willard, UT; Devin (Pam) Hieb, Pocatello, ID; Heidi (Bob) Alvarado, Chubbuck, ID; siblings, Donald Scott, Riverside, ID; Patricia Pugmire, Riverside, ID; Jeri McBride, Riverside, ID; Rusty Scott, Boise, ID; Alec Scott, Riverside, ID; Sharla Mickelson, Riverside, ID; Barry Scott, Riverside, ID; and ten grandchildren.

Sandra was preceded in death by her father, David Lamond Scott and a granddaughter, Charley SeRae Hieb.

The family of Sandra Lee Hieb wishes to extend their gratitude to the Creekside Home Health and Hospice for their compassionate care and assistance. And acknowledge to the many friends and family members for their support, love and prayers.

Funeral services to honor Sandra's life will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Rd. The interment will follow the services at Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.wilksfuneralhome.com.
