Sandee Danter Reus, 39, passed away unexpectedly at his home in the morning hours of Saturday, August 24, 2013.
Sandee was born December 9, 1973 in Kidapawan, North Cotabato, Philippines to Dante Reus and Esther Reus. He grew up in the Philippines where he re¬ceived his bachelor's Degree in Nursing at Perpetual Help College. He migrated to Chicago, IL in 1996 and moved to Pocatello, ID the same year. He was employed at Hillcrest Haven (now Monte Vista Hills) and then Portneuf Valley Hospital (now Safe Haven Hospital).
Sandee had one daughter; Daniella Mae Reus, in October 14, 1998. His life has revolved around her since. She has been his pride and joy and to her eyes, and the eyes of many Sandee has been the epitome of a perfect father. Sandee loved to cook and his culinary expertise became legendary to a point where he was hired to cater to weddings and other events. He loved dancing, fishing, shopping and loved sports, especially basketball. Sandee is known by many as "the best boss," a model employee and the most genuine friend. He has touched so many lives that it seems like the whole world is grieving his passing.
Sandee is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Esther, who he has joined in heaven. He is survived by his precious daughter Danie, his father, Dante, his brothers; Sidney and Sonny; and his sister Sweet Mary Reus.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Fri. Aug. 30, 2013 at Wilks Funeral Home 211 W. Chubbuck Rd. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services.
