Sandra "Sande" McDermott, 71, passed away at her home on July 14, 2013. Sande was born on July 28,1941 to Ruth O. and Geryl V. Lindburg. Sande attended Pocatello High School in Pocatello, Idaho, graduating in 1959. In her years after high school she worked in the legal community, serving as administrative assistant to several local judges and attorneys. In recent years, she served on the Pocatello Zoological Society and was on the Board of Directors of the Idaho State-Civic Symphony. She was also past president of the Pocatello High School Alumni Association. After her 50-year class reunion, she personally organized a luncheon with her local classmates the second Monday of every month. To this day, 20-25 of those classmates continue to meet. She loved snow skiing, playing bridge, baseball (Go New York Yankees!) and spending time at her summer home in Mackay. But probably more than anything, she loved animals. Sande had several dogs over the years, which she loved dearly, but she was especially attached to her current puppy, Molle. Preceding her in death was her brother, Gary Lindburg. She is survived by her husband, Peter D., to whom she's been married for 37 years, her son and daughter-in-law Tod and Jennifer Roebuck of Reno, Nevada, step-daughter and husband Lynell and Kirk Baty of Middleton, Idaho, two granddaughters, Brittney and Brianne Baty, also of Middleton, Idaho, nephew and wife, Brad and Stacey Lindburg of Las Vegas, Nevada, nephew Broc Lindburg and niece, Josie Lindburg also of Las Vegas, Nevada.
