Ruby Abigail Riley

Ruby Riley, 97, passed away September 6 in Preston, Idaho. Ruby, the 5th of 10 children born to Nathan Fair Doyel and Mary Caroline Goodner, was born in Weatherford, Oklahoma, October 14, 1912. She married Claude Riley on November 15, 1932 in Oklahoma. Shortly thereafter they moved to Reedley where they spent the rest of their lives. Ruby was the cafeteria manager at Mt. Olive School and the Reedley elementary schools. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude, and sisters Beatrice Avants, Belle Fast, Bertha Utley, and brothers Nathan, J.D., and Raymond Doyel. She is survived by sisters Jessie Loewen and Una Lenord and her three children Doyel Riley and his wife, LuJean, Pat Robertson and her husband Bob all of Reedley, and Barbara Reynolds and her husband Larry of Preston, Idaho, 13 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild.
