Roxanne Marie Jaques

Roxanne Marie Jaques passed away peacefully on May 16, 2011. She was born on July, 8 1955 in Pocatello, ID. She spent her childhood in Fairbanks, AK and Pocatello, ID where she attended St. Joseph's Catholic School. In 1968, Roxanne moved to Portland, OR. She graduated from Beaverton High School in 1973. After high school, Roxanne spent a summer working at K Bar Z Ranch with Patt Nelson in Wyoming.

Roxanne married her first husband, Michael Dennis Buck, on November 12, 1983. Their daughter, Kelsey Aleene, was born on September 5, 1986. Mike and Roxanne were later divorced. She married her second husband, Charles Allyn Jaques on September 3, 1999. She was widowed on June 4, 2000. Roxanne worked for Nordstrom until she retired in 2004. In 2005, she moved to Pocatello, ID to care for her grandmother, aunt, and mother.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother Aleene Miller, her father, and husband Charly Jaques. Roxanne is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kelsey and Ben Knobel, mother Joyce Fleming, aunt Mabel Groves, sisters Cindy Gardner and Rhonda Sollender, brothers Ryan Allred and David Sollender.

There will be memorial services held for Roxanne in Pocatello, ID on June 4, 2011 and in Portland, OR on July 9, 2011; time and locations to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Roxanne's honor to the Bannock Humane Society.
