Ross Winzler Lenroot

Ross Winzler Lenroot, 73, passed away shortly after being diagnosed with cancer, on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at his home. He was born on December 1, 1944 to Edward and Mary Anna Lenroot. He was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho graduating from Pocatello High School in 1964. Ross joined the Air Force being honorably discharged. He married Jeanie Lenroot in Pocatello; together they had two sons, Paul and Michael. Ross worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for 30 years as a brakeman and conductor. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, rock hunting and spending time at the cabin in Mackay. Ross is survived by his wife, Jeanie Lenroot, Pocatello, ID; sons, Paul (Stacy) Lenroot, Milwaukie, OR, Michael (Kristina) Lenroot, Pocatello, ID; and two granddaughters, Ali Jo and Sophie; whom he enjoyed spending time with. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Lee Lewis; and brother, Heber Lenroot. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Pleasureland Pavillion (Ross Park), Pocatello.
