Many of her church callings were music or related to music. She was a professional singer and performed with the Kansas City Philharmonic. Her homemade sweet rolls and breads were legendary. She also enjoyed many domestic talents such as crocheting and canning but most of all she loved visits from her children and grandchildren and reveled in their successes. She was thrilled to get news of graduations, mission calls and family members entering into the armed forces.
