POCATELLO - Heavenly Father wrapped his loving arms around her weary soul and carried her home on January 19, 2011. Ronnie Ruby Nelson was born November 19, 1937 in Pocatello to the proud parents of Gerald and Ruby Nelson. She met and married Claude Ray Cleveland April 15th, 1960 solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple. Claude and Ronnie later welcomed three wonderful children: Trina Rae, Gary Lynn and Darren Lee. Ronnie was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She carried a strong value of faith in her church and had read the Book of Mormon 1,500 times. She generously shared her time and talents in serving her family and friends throughout her life. Ronnie enjoyed baking homemade bread, cookies and amazing family dinners. She spent her life caring for everyone that set foot into her door and those that were far in distance would receive cards to always let them know they were missed and loved. Ronnie was an amazing grandmother of two beautiful girls Kourtnie and T'Nesha who she spent many hours teaching to bake bread, decorating cookies, and getting lots of hugs. She dedicated her life to family who will miss her dearly. She is survived by her husband Claude Ray Cleveland (Poc), two children Trina Rae Cleveland (Poc.), Gary Lynn Cleveland (Poc.), Klyne and Karleene Nelson (UT), Blaine and Linda Nelson (UT), two granddaughters Kourtnie Dawn Cleveland (Poc), and T'Nesha Marie Cleveland (Poc). She is proceeded in death by her cherished parents Gerald and Ruby Nelson and her loving son Darren Lee Cleveland. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 24, 2011, at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Ave. A visitation will be held on from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 23, 2011, at the funeral home, and also one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow the funeral service at Mountain View Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Colonial Funeral Home (208) 233-1500.
