Ronda Deon Clegg Tibbitts, 77, peacefully returned to her Father in Heaven on September 18, 2011, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Mom was born April 1, 1934 in Logan, Utah, and lived there most of her life. She attended Woodruff Elementary, Logan Jr. High, and graduated from Logan High School. She moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho, in 2010 and resided there until her death. Mom married Ira Don Tibbitts in the Logan LDS Temple on July 13, 1953. Prior to her marriage, she worked plucking chickens, picking berries, weeding beets, and also worked as a car hop. She was a faithful member of the LDS church and served as her ward librarian for almost 10 years. She also volunteered to go with a group from the church to help with the Teton Dam disaster in 1976. Mom loved crocheting, reading, and camping with her family. She also loved to collect all kinds of rocks which she would place in her rock garden at her home in Logan. Mom loved so many flowers and could often be found in her many gardens tending to them. She loved decorating for each holiday, especially Christmas. Mom really loved all her family and was so proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mom is survived by her husband, Ira Don Tibbitts, sons Louie (Jeanne Marie, deceased) Tibbitts of Grace Idaho, Lornel (Sylvia) Tibbitts of Logan, Marty (Connie) Tibbitts of Providence, and daughters Lorie Tibbitts of Logan, Linda Christensen (Doug) of Idaho Falls, and Charmon Tibbitts of Idaho Falls. She is also survived by her sister Margie (Dick) Hymas of Logan, and brothers Butch (Marie) Clegg and Devar (Jan) Clegg, both of Millville, 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Thelma (Jenks) Clegg, a brother LaRon Clegg, brother Wendell (Wanda) Clegg, and daughter-in-law Jeanne Marie Campbell Tibbitts. Funeral services will be in the Logan 17 th Ward Chapel, 226 N. 400 W. Logan, Utah 84321 on Saturday, September 24, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive visitors at a viewing at the LDS 17 th Ward on Friday, September 23, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and also from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow at the Logan Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the memorial fund at Zions Bank c/o Ronda Deon Tibbitts.
