POCATELLO-Rona Lee Breckenridge Symons, 57, beloved wife of Greg Symons passed away peacefully Feb 3 at a local care facility surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 10, 1953 to Dale and Ronell Hillman Breckenridge in Driggs, Idaho. She was the oldest of six children. Rona Lee lived in Pocatello where she was a substitute teacher for District 25. A happy lady who loved kids and family. On June 21, 2002 she married the man she had looked for all her life; Greg Symons. She had a passion to take pictures for which she had a great eye. She has also compiled thousands of pictures from the present to past. She wanted to leave a legacy of family history in pictures. She also was owner of an art gallery/frame shop, Western Walls in Pocatello. She spent several years in Portland, OR. Hobbies included making beaded necklaces, family calendars, going to coffee with her friends. She was secretary of the local Writers Guild. She also enjoyed attending the Temple Emanuel. Rona Lee will be greatly missed by her husband, Greg; parents, Dale and Ronell and siblings; Alice Breckenridge of Logan, UT, David (Alene) Breckenridge, Ray Breckenridge , both of Tetonia, ID, Lois (Joseph) of Pocatello, ID, Jay (Jenni ) Breckenridge of Brigham City ,UT. and numerous nieces and nephews. As per Rona Lee's wishes, she will be cremated. Memorial services will be held at 11 am on Monday, Feb 7, 2011 at the Indian Hills LDS Ward Chapel, 5424 Bannock Highway. There will be a gathering of friends and family from 6:30 - 8pm on Sunday, Feb 6 at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Ave and also one hour prior to the memorial service at the church. Burial will follow at the Haden Cemetery in Tetonia, Idaho, at a later date.
