Ronald T. Hudson, 71, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on September 1, 2017 in Pocatello, Idaho. He was born on April 25, 1946 to Andrew T. Hudson and Naomi Spriggs Hudson in Kalispell, Montana. Ron loved knowledge, reading, gardening, jewelry making, cooking, nature, dogs, and good conversation. Most of all, he loved his soulmate Lori (Laura) Nelson. Ron was a kind, gentle, caring man, who was intelligent, witty, and always championed the underdog. He proudly graduated from Idaho State University in 1994. He is a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served as an Army medic in Japan. He is survived by his soulmate, Lori (Laura) Nelson; Loris father, Ken Nelson; brothers, Lynn A. (Suzanne) Hudson, Brad C. Hudson; nieces and nephews; and last, but not least . . . his doggie, Abby. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, SEPTEMBER 16 , 2017 from 12 noon until 2 pm at the LDS Alameda 5 th Ward cultural hall, 1440 Lakeview Dr., Pocatello, ID.
