Ronald Edwin Dunn

Ronald Edwin Dunn, Sr., 78, passed away peacefully June 13, 2018 following a valiant battle with Leukemia.

Ronald was born January 30, 1940 in San Pablo, California to James Edward, and Edith (Carrick) Dunn.

Ronald married his sweetheart and companion, Beckie Markham, on May 16, 1960. Together they raised three children.

Ronald joined the U.S. Air Force in 1958 and proudly served his country for 21 years before retiring from the military. They settled in Pocatello where he worked for the government for the next 15 years, at which time he retired.

Ronald was an active member and participant of the Men's Golf Association in Pocatello. He enjoyed golf! His other passion was to travel and time spent with his family and friends.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 58 years, Beckie; his three children, Teresa of San Antonio, TX; Ronald, Jr. of Moor Park, CA; William of Keizer, OR; a sister, Edith Patterson of Nampa, ID; ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road, with Pastor Steve Yadon officiating. Military Rites will be provided by the Pocatello Veterans Honor Guard.
