Robert Boyd Davis

Our loving Father, Son, Brother, Grandpa and friend, Robert Boyd Davis age 57 passed away at home from congestive heart failure on Thursday, October 19, 2023.

Robert was born January 1, 1966 in Pocatello, Idaho to Wayne and Charlene (Marshall/Dye) Davis. He lived all his life in Pocatello and Chubbuck attending Greenacres and Chubbuck Elementary schools, Hawthorne junior high and Skyline high school.

Robert married Tamara Spangler (Christensen) in Las Vegas Nevada on September 16, 1990. From this marriage they had four children, Taria, Jolynn, Scott Robert, Eric Samuel, Jeffrey Justin. Robert also had another daughter, Amber Dawn (Mowrey) Nester. They were later divorced.

On August 21, 2000 he married Rose Crane in Las Vegas, Nevada, they were later divorced.

Tracy Saiz became his significant partner for 15 years.

Robert worked for his Dad Wayne at Wayne’s Transmission from the age of 15 until his passing. Robert also worked for Bill Isley and Brad Frasure for 2 years.

Robert loved playing Little League baseball being the best shortstop and making the All Star team for 2 years. In the fall Little League football was the game. As an adult he continued playing baseball and softball with his brothers. He also took up the sport of Horseshoes, where he attended two world tournaments, taking second and third place in his division.

Robert loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors doing any of these activities with his children or friends.

Robert is survived by his children Taria, Jolynn, Amber Dawn ( Bo), Eric Samuel ( Shilo) and Jeffrey Justin ( Carolyn); Mother, Charlene B. Davis; 3 brothers Craig (Annette), Ron (Teresa) and Bret; 4 sisters Debra Ellis ( Kim), Lori Davis-Powell, Maralee Anderson and Nanette Spangler (Larry); 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Father Wayne Davis, his son Scott Davis and brother Kevin Davis.

Family will receive family and friends for a viewing on Wednesday October 25, 2023 for 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Wilks Funeral Home 211 West Chubbuck Road with a graveside service Thursday October 26, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Mountain View Cemetery.
