POCATELLO - Bob stepped into eternity on Saturday, December 31, 2010, with his family at his side. Born August 8, 1924 to Clyde and Crystal Haskett Sampson in Delta, Utah, Bob moved to Pocatello as a teenager. He attended Pocatello High School and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as a sergeant in the Marines during World War II. He married Jackie Roche. They had three children, Randy, Kim, and Kelly. They were later divorced. Bob worked as a pipefitter and welder for Local 648, and part owner of Killian Plumbing and Heating with his brothers Jay Sampson and LaVaughn Haskett. He married Bonnie Simmons and they shared the rest of their lives together. They were sealed for time and eternity. He was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Sampson, brothers Jay Sampson and LaVaughan Haskett. Bob is survived by children Randy Sampson, Kim (Bryan) Bowman, Kelly (Jane) Sampson; step-children Wally (Debbie) Barney, Linda (Jack) Burlile, Elane (Campbell) King, Lee Barney, Lyn (Viki) Barney and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Graveside services for Bob will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2011 at Restlawn Memorial Gardens at 1:00 P.M. There will be a time for family to meet friends on Wednesday prior to the services from 11:00 - 12:30 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home 2005 S. 4th Avenue.
