Robert Blaine Phelps

Robert passed away tragically September 29, 2017.

Robert Blaine Phelps 38, of Chubbuck Id went to be with his Heavenly Father September 29, 2017. He was born June 2, 1979 to Brett and Debra Phelps in Blackfoot Id.

Robert was raised in American Falls Id where he attended school and later moved to Pocatello with his mother where Robert succeeded in a career at Heinz. He became an operator quickly advancing to team leader and was very well respected by all his coworkers that over time became like family to him. After working at Heinz he pursued a career in auto repair. He owned a very fast growing auto shop that he took pride in. Rob wore his heart on his sleeve helping everyone who came into his establishment.

Robert is survived by his parents: mother, Debra A. Smith, father, Brett Phelps and stepmother, Janet Phelps; daughter, Jaselle Wishcop-Phelps;son, Aarick Hokanson;sister, Echo Marie Acuna;and his nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road. A no-host wake will continue at the Clydesdale Bar and Lounge, 655 N. 5th Avenue, Pocatello.
