Ricky Duane Elbrader Passed away on October 15th, 2017 due to a long battle with Progressive Supra-Nuclear Palsy. Rick was born to Millie and Duane Elbrader on September 27th, 1953 in Pocatello Idaho at Bannock Memorial Hospital. Rick was a Big brother to three; His brothers Roger and Mike and his adoring sister Teri. In his early years as a young kid he lived in the California desert's and towards his high school years they then moved to Golden Colorado. He started his career in Colorado as a young chemical technician and worked there tell he moved back to Pocatello Idaho. In Pocatello, he found the Love of his life Debbie Jean Elbrader and they soon married and had their first son David Lee Elbrader in 1984. Ricky attended ISU and got his associates degree in civil engineering. This would land him a job he was very passionate about at Simplot as a chemical engineer.
Ricky had many passions and hobbies in his life. From golf, to skiing, to his love of camping and fishing, and his love of woodworking and gun collecting. However nothing compared to his love and compassion he felt for his family and friends. Ricky was the most generous gentle and caring soul on this earth and it showed as you could always count on him for love and support. His favorite thing to cook and eat was breakfast and he made the most amazing French toast and pancakes.
Ricky is survived by his wife Debbie Elbrader, his son David Elbrader, His mom and dad Millie and Duane Elbrader, his brother Roger (Karen) Elbrader, his sister Teri (Roger) Wardlaw, and his brother Mike Elbrader. Although Ricky did not want a funeral, he will always be remembered for his wonderful life on earth and we know he is watching over us and he is in a "beautiful place". We will always remember a caring and wonderful man who will be deeply missed.
