Richard Willard Hansen

Richard Willard Hansen, 73, passed away on August 19, 2017 after a short battle with cancer. He was born on September 7, 1943 in Montpelier, ID, to Willard H. Hansen and Velma Caroline Lewis Hansen. He married LaRae McMurray on June 11, 1965 in the Logan Temple. Richard is survived by his wife, LaRae Hansen; children, Tricia Willie, Pocatello, ID, Todd R. (Rachel) Hansen, Lehi, UT, Rachel (Joey) Fowler, Pocatello, ID, Eric H. (Nicole) Hansen, Pocatello, ID; 22 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and another one on the way. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Melinda Braidman; father, Willard H. Hansen; mother, Velma Hansen; and numerous other relatives. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 11 am at the LDS Alameda 4 th Ward Chapel, 1440 Lakeview Dr. Pocatello, with a viewing for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, 1520 S. 5 th Ave. Pocatello, ID.
