Richard Valentino Barbone

Richard Valentino Barbone, affectionately known by his family as Richie or Squish, passed away on Monday May 16, 2011. Richie was born 16 weeks early on October 15, 2010 in Salt Lake City at the University of Utah Hospital. He spent the first 5 months of his life in the hospital so his body could grow strong enough to be released home.

Richie was a fighter and he loved to snuggle. Recently he had graduated to taking a bottle. His older sister and brother love him and doted after him constantly. Richard was part of the Navajo tribe; Ashii'i clan. His paternal grandparents are Loka Dine.


Richie is survived by his mother, Lauren Nichols; father, LeeRoss Barbone; grandparents, Richard & Katie Nichols, Pocatello, Valentino & Nellie Barbone, Daltons Pass, NM; sister, Mya; brother, Delvin; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by; JoAnne T. Healy, great-grandmother and Nellie Largo, great, great, great-grandmother.
