Richard Paul Hasuse

Richard Hasuse, 74, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021. Richard was born on April 26, 1947 to Paul and Leona Hasuse. He grew up in Washakie, Utah and attended school in Garland, Utah. He lived most of his life in the Fort Hall, Idaho area.

Richard was married to Cleo Hasuse. He loved to travel, shop, and watch his favorite television channels. He attended pow wows and sun dances and enjoyed the native songs. He also loved animals. Richard believed in his native ways and was a member of the LDS church.

Richard is survived by his wife, Cleo Hasuse of Blackfoot, ID; his sons, Yates Hasuse and Johnny Hasuse, both of Blackfoot, ID; and his grand-doggies, Lucy, Crooked Tail, Penelope, Sabastian, Sky, and Jacob.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Henry Hasuse; mother, Leona Peyope Hasuse; maternal grandparents, Jacob and Lucy Cojoe Peyope; and paternal grandparents, Werito and Freda Hasuse.

Burial will take place on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Northwestern Band of the Shoshone Nation Cemetery, 8600 W. 24000 N. Portage, UT.
