Richard Mayne

Richard Steven Mayne, 58, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019 at a local hospital of natural causes. He was born on August 11, 1960 in Pocatello, Idaho, son of Jack K Mayne and Bernice Burnham Mayne, the third of four sons. He graduated from Pocatello High School and later earned an associate's degree in Aquaculture from the College of Southern Idaho. Richard began working early in life, retiring two years ago after 35 years with the City of Pocatello Wastewater Pollution Control. He enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing and being in the outdoors. He is survived by his mother, Bernice Buchanan; brothers, Russell Mayne and John Mayne; niece, Crystal Meade; and nephews, Travis Mayne and Joshua Mayne. Richard was preceded in death by his father, Jack Mayne; step-father, Clint Buchanan; brother, Ronald Mayne; and numerous aunts and uncles. There will be a graveside service on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 2 pm at Mountain View Cemetery, 1520 S. 5 th Ave. Pocatello. A gathering will be held at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello for one hour prior.
