d. March 4, 2015

Richard Morgan, 67, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at his home. Richard James Morgan was born June 17, 1947 in Caliente, Nevada, son of Roy and Marian Morgan. Jimmy was loved not just by his parents, but by extended family members as well as his Aunt Esther who lived with them most of his life. After graduation, Jimmy joined the Army leaving behind his girlfriend, Stella, to write the kind of letters that only a lovesick teenage, slightly melodramatic, girl can produce. He was trained as a cook and that became his vocation. He started out working at The Highwayman until it closed. He then worked for J. B.'s, Butterburrs and then worked in food service at the Veterans Home until he had to retire due to health reasons. Jimmy is survived by his wife, Stella of 44 years; his three daughters, Jami, Angel, and Melanie; his two grandsons, Corey and Ayden; his three granddaughters, Shondelle, Kaitlin, and Sophya; and his stepfather, Harold Tuckey. He was preceded in death by both sets of parents, his Aunt Esther Easton, and Jami's husband, Brett Adams.
