Renee Galloway

d. June 7, 2008

Renee Galloway. 56, was born in Brooklyn, NY. Throughout her life she lived in a variety of other places, settling in Pocatello in the 1980's. Renee owned and operated Little Shepherds Christian Preschool and Kindergarten. Renee will be remembered most for her great capacity to love. She loved God, her family and others. She was very artistic, creative, loved to read, loved music, and art. Everyone enjoyed her great cooking. Her daughter, granddaughter, and grandsons were the center, love and joy of life. She was a wonderful Mom and Nana. Renee will be remembered for her thoughtfulness and the way she cared for others, if you were sick no one took better care of you. She loved vacationing with her family in Disneyland and the San Diego Beach. Her favorite book of the Bible was Psalms, especially the 18th Psalm (32-33). She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. We know we will see her again. She's gone home with the Love of her life, her Lord, Savior, Comforter, Healer, and Deliverer. She was waiting for Him. (Isaiah 40:31) Renee was survived by her daughter Marama Howard; granddaughter, Alyssa (Howard) Dixon and Clayton Dixon; grandsons Tyler and Jared Howard; sister, Gail McNerney; all of Pocatello, Idaho and brother Roddy McNerney of Brooklyn, NY. Renee was preceded in death by her father Gerard McNerney and her mother Margaret (Schmitt) McNerney. Funeral services for Renee will be 11 A.M. on Saturday June 7, 2008 at the Gate City Christian Church 202 W. Siphon with Pastor John Robinson officiating, casual dress. A public viewing will be held from 10-11:00 A.M. at the church on Saturday before the service. Come cheerfully to celebrate her new life.
