Rene Aguirre Perez

Rene A. Perez, of Pocatello, Idaho passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 21, 2023.

Rene was born on January 8, 1971, in Dade City, Florida to Jose and Guadalupe Perez. His early years were in Texas, then the family moved to American Falls. He had many fun adventures with his brother Joe and sister Ida, and many cousins. Family was everything.

Rene loved music, barbecuing, and classic cars.

Rene married the love of his life Nancy Lamprecht on January 13, 2012. She brought a daughter, Isabel, who he raised as his own. Rene and Nancy were blessed with their son Max Jose on October 26, 2014. He enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter Emma, who was born November 4, 2020.

Rene was a hard worker, did his best wherever he worked. He spent many years doing farm labor. He made friends wherever he went. We will miss his smile and jokes. He was the life of the party!

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; son Max Jose; daughter Isabel (Shawn); granddaughter Emma; brother Joe Perez (Edith); sister Ida Perez (Jorge); many beloved nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; and his mother-in-law Jane Lamprecht. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, and his father-in-law, Max Lamprecht.

He will be deeply missed ❤ Rest in peace bro!

A Celebration of Life will be held in Rene's honor on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Wilks Funeral Home in Chubbuck.  His family will receive friends at a viewing scheduled to take place on Friday evening, February 24, 2023, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., as well as on Saturday for one hour prior to the Celebration of Life.  Interment will follow services at Falls View Cemetery in American Falls, Idaho.
