Regie Kay Wells Infanger
(Pronounced "REE-GEE" - don't get it wrong ;)
On 15 October 2023, Regie Kay Wells Infanger slipped quietly from this earth life to a better life with her son Eugene and her beloved Grandma Bowden. Also preceding her were her parents Loral and Paul Wells, and four siblings David Paul, Shawna Ranae Gunter, Keith Eugene, and Cherie Lynne Fehringer.
Survivors include Regie’s son TJ, his wife Sharee, and their children Abby, Kaden, Arianne, and McKenna of Pocatello; and Regie’s daughter Lorinda, her husband Matt Houston and their children Jack, and Lily of Silverdale, Washington. Also Regie’s sister LaWana Lou Rennich, brother Daniel (Danny) Robert Wells, both of Pocatello, and sister Marinda Ruth of Texas.
Regie was born on 16 January 1954 in Pocatello, Idaho, the third of eight children in the Wells clan. Due to her father’s nomadic work, the family moved frequently during her early childhood. The family settled in Pocatello where Regie graduated from Pocatello High School in 1972. She worked a variety of jobs; including accounting, the potato product line at Lamb-Weston, and merchandising. She loved organizing and working with numbers. In 2012, she completed an accounting program through the Vo-Tech at Idaho State University.
On 10 November 1975, Regie married Kelly Infanger in Elko, Nevada. Together they had three beautiful children: Toby Jack (TJ), Eugene William, and Lorinda Kaylean. Regie and Kelly divorced in 1991. Then in 1994, Eugene died in a car accident. Eugene’s passing left a huge hole in Regie’s heart.
In life, Regie enjoyed painting ceramics, and doing diamond art. She loved elephants, popcorn, Oreos, Coke, peaceful quiet surroundings, and playing cards, as did most members of the extended Bowden family. She deeply loved her family, especially her grandchildren!
Regie loved and had faith in Jesus Christ, and claimed membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She had struggles with her faith and spirituality, but those struggles never dampened the love she felt from her Savior. A favorite song, ‘Dream the Impossible Dream’, truly reflects the depth of their mother’s heart.
Lorinda and TJ extend heartfelt thank yous to all who loved and cared for their mother! We know that Heaven notices such love and devotion.
