Raymond “Keith” Leatham passed away peacefully the evening of Thursday, June 9, 2022, with his wife and son, Garth; by his side at his home. He was born March 15, 1939, and married Patricia Martin on July 9, 1963. His 83 years were full of fun and adventure. He was devoted to raising his sons with an abundance of recreational opportunities – from motorcycles and snowmobiles, to camping, hunting and fishing. And baseball. Lots and lots of baseball. He rose through the ranks at the JR Simplot Company, finishing as a Purchasing Agent. And then he got to do what he really wanted to do: retire! He and Pat spent time developing a second home in Island Park and many years wintering in Quartzsite AZ in their motor home.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Pat. Son Greg (Erica). Grandchildren: Courtney (Keith), Addison and Turner. Son Garth (Nicki). Grandchildren: Tyler (Cassey) and Christopher (Stephanie) and Great-Grandchildren Brendan, Murphy, Luke and Ellie.
Thanks dad, for teaching us to do so many things. We built a garage, restored a ’66 Mustang, welded and we learned to back up a trailer thanks to you! You raised an amazing family. We honor your life!
The family will celebrate Ray’s life with a graveside service later in August.
