Raymon Huerta

Raymon Huerta, 69, passed away on June 26, 2023. He was born on August 20, 1953 to Mike and Juanita Huerta in Pocatello, Idaho. Ray was raised in the Pocatello area. He attended Lincoln Elementary, Franklin Junior High and Pocatello High School.

Ray was a skilled carpenter and learned the trade from his dad, Mike. Raymon spent the majority of his career working for various prefab manufactured homes facilities.

In his time off, Ray loved hunting, fishing, camping, and an occasional round of golf. He liked football games and enjoyed listening to music.

Raymon was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Mary Ellen.

Raymon is survived by his son, Chris Baird of Boise, ID; sisters, Virginia, Aurora, Mary Ann, and Cecelia; brothers, Robert, Eddy, and Gregory; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a rosary and a viewing on Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 6-8 pm at Colonial Chapel, 2005 S. 4th Avenue in Pocatello, Idaho. A funeral mass will be on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 11 am at St. Anthony church, 524 N. 7th Avenue with the burial immediately following at Mountain View Cemetery, 1520 S. 5th Avenue, Pocatello, Idaho. Section 50 E, Row 20.

A special honorary mention to Christopher Baird and all the special family. And a special thank you to friends and caretakers who enriched his life. We will carry your memory in our hearts.
