Ray Williams

Ray was born to Thomas and Elnora Williams April 7, 1937. He spent his early childhood in Pocatello, ID until the family moved to Lava Hot Springs, ID in 1950 and spent the remainder of his life ID. He married Darla Eby Iverson on June 3, 1960 and after her death he married 2 additional times. He worked for various farmers in the area as a truck driver and mechanic. He was in the National Guard and enjoyed the Pocatello Senior Citizen Center. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, playing pool, and dancing. He also loved drawing and coloring pictures for everyone he came across. His surviving family members are Ann Peck, wife of Pocatello, ID; Tim Williams, son Pocatello, ID; Sherry Lyon, Daughter of Boise, ID; Robert Williams, Son of Pocatello, ID; Irene Iverson, Sister of Blackfoot, ID; June Judkins, Sister of Pocatello, ID; Keith Williams, Brother of Pocatello, ID; Gloria Spiegel, Sister of Pocatello, ID; Faye Hazelbush, Sister of Pocatello, ID; Ivan Williams, Brother of Pocatello, ID; and Neil Williams, Brother of Blackfoot, ID. He has 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by Darla Williams, John Williams, Thomas Williams, Tommy Williams, Elnora Williams, and Ann Williams. Grave side services will be held at the Lava Hot Springs cemetery at 11:00 am on Wed. July 12, 2017. Pot luck to follow at the upper park in Lava Hot Springs across from the Hot Pools. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Ray Williams funeral expenses at Well Fargo Bank, care of Sherry Lyon.
