Ramon Vasquez

Ramon Vasquez, 65, of Pocatello, Idaho passed away on May 31, 2020 at a local hospital. He was born August 4, 1954 in Wildrose, Wisconsin son of Roman and Estella Vasquez. Ramon attended high school in Eagle Pass, Texas. He spent the majority of his life as a very hard worker in agriculture. Work brought him to Idaho where he worked in the harvest in the potatoes. Ramon met the love of his life Irma Aguilar and got married July 19, 1972 in American Falls, Idaho. Together they had 7 wonderful children: Agustine Jaime Jimmy", Maribel, Arthur, Isaac, Catalina, Alexis, and Gabriel Orlando. He worked driving spud truck for Wade Povey and Will Rowe. Ramon love to work in his yard, play horseshoes in the backyard with his family, carpentry, painting, and was a great handyman. Ramon was a family man; his family were the love of his life. He loved to spend most of his time with his children and grandchildren. He had a fun sense of humor and loved telling stories about he and his wife when they met and fell in love. Ramon is survived by his children, Agustine Jaime "Jimmy", Maribel, Arthur (Lisa), Isaac, Catalina, Alex, and Gabriel. Ramon has 26 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roman and Maria Estella Vasquez; his wife, Irma Aguilar Vasquez; siblings, Jose Antonio, Augustine Jaime, Maria Del Refugio, and Jesus "Chuy" Mario Vasquez. All services will be privately held with the family only.
