Penny Jo Larsen

Penny Jo Larsen, 40, of Pocatello passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015. She was born November 25, 1974 in Great Falls, MT to Linda OConnell and Ronald Hearn. Penny met her husband Monty Larsen in 1996 and they had two beautiful daughters, Sky Lynn and Samantha Larsen. Pennys passion was her family and friends. She was a very caring and compassionate person, and always put the needs of others before her own. She was a volunteer at the Pocatello food bank and loved giving to others. She had such a big heart and was loved by many. It is not a surprise that Penny was an organ donor and even in death will go on to help others. Penny is survived by her husband, Monty Larsen; daughters, Sky Lynn and Samantha Larsen; two beautiful grandbabies, Mitch Lake and Aurora Rupe; sister, Michele Worden; niece, Mercedes (Luke) Swayze; nephew, Robert Bair; best friend, Evelyn Hoover; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Her mother, Linda OConnell and her grandparents precede her in death. A celebration of her life will be held at the First Baptist Church, 408 N. Arthur in Pocatello, on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at 2:00 PM with a reception to follow. A memorial fund has been set up at Mountain America Credit Union in her honor to assist with memorial costs.
