Peggy Cornell was born December 9, 1934. She grew up in Phoenix, Arizona.

Peggy graduated from West High School in 1952. Peggy married James Cornell on October 3, 1955. Four sons Dean, Troy, Rod, and Dwight and 2 daughters Renae and Lynette were born to this union. When her three oldest sons were younger she was involved in Boy Scouts and Little League.

In 1976 they moved to Inkom, Idaho. Peggy started a 24 year career at AMI in 1976 and retiring in 2000.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband James Cornell, son Dean Cornell, brother Robert and her parents Clark and Gladys Lambert.

Peggy is survived by her children Troy (Roxane) Cornell Shelley, Idaho; Rod (Alice) Cornell West Jordan, Utah.; Renae (Scott) Stearns Pocatello, Id; Dwight (Faith) Cornell Orem, Utah; Lynette Aloise Pocatello, Idaho; 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Viewings will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, October 24, 2021 and a hour prior to the funeral service both at Wilks Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Wilks Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Inkom Cemetery.
