Pearl Arthuretta Bondhus

POCATELLO Pearl Arthuretta Bondhus, 71, passed away at her home on Sunday, February 1, 2015 from natural causes. She was born July 1, 1943 in Los Angeles, CA the daughter of Thomas Singer and Muriel Joan (Dahlstedt) Buchanan. Pearl received her education in Southern California. She moved here to Idaho only 13 short years ago. Pearl was retired, doing waitressing most of her working life. She had a very strong belief in family, helping others anytime that they needed it or just pitching in on her own. She loved the 50s era music and could be seen singing or dancing to it on a regular basis. Pearl also loved her animals and flowers, and she enjoyed sewing shirts for her husband in her younger years. She liked her camping and fishing trips and especially enjoyed her casual strolls amongst the camp sites she visited. But one of her most enjoyable things to do was water skiing and boating. She is survived by a sister, Diane Douillard of Dateland, AZ; brothers, John (Celia) and Tucker (Tina) Buchanan all of Pocatello, ID; sister, Mary Tuthill of Fontana, CA; brother, David (Sophie) Huddleston and sister, Carol Ross all of Pocatello, ID; and step-son, Richard Garcia of Salt Lake city, UT. She was preceded in death by both her parents, Thomas and Muriel Buchanan; sisters, Kathy Mulvihill and Elizabeth Buchanan.
