Paul Vincent Miranda, born July 10, 1962 in Pocatello, Idaho passed away unexpectedly after being diagnosed with a serious heart condition. Paul spent most of his life in eastern and southeastern Idaho but made his home in Kimberly, Idaho. His love for the outdoors was captured in the beauty Idaho had to offer. He loved to hunt and camp but most of all, fishing was his passion. If there were a lake or river anywhere around, Paul would be fishing it.
Paul traveled all over the state when he worked as a flagger and was supervisor of a flagging crew for many years. It was through this experience he met his lifetime best friend Frankie Tuma and they made a life together traveling and enjoying living in the moment. Paul always loved his life as a free spirit and he never worried about tomorrow, only what he could accomplish that day. Even though Paul loved flagging he dipped his hands in many other occupations, working in chrome, as a firefighter, and eventually ended up making his living in Kimberly as a heister driver for Glanbia. Paul had 2 beautiful daughters from separate marriages and 7 pugs who were his babies that he loved more than anything.
Paul was a loyal friend so his kept his circle small, but if you were lucky enough to be in that circle, then you know that he would give anything he could to help a friend, even if he had to go without. Paul was a dedicated Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Lakers fan and spent his free time in the casinos; he loved to gamble and was usually the lucky one. All that knew and loved him will miss Paul, but we know he will have the best fishing spot picked out when we meet him again.
Paul is survived by his best friend Frankie Tuma; daughters Alesha (Dustun) Nicholas of Pocatello, Idaho and Aubrey (William) Baker of New Buffalo, Michigan; grandchildren Dylan Guthrie, Noah Spradling, Contessa Nicholas, Gabriel Pocernich, Ricky Pocernich, and Alec Baker; sister Elena Miranda; and nephews Erick and Anthony Estrada.
He is preceded in death by his father Cuberto (Robert) Miranda and mother Amelia Oresco Miranda.
