Paul Bernard Dills, 83, passed away November 29th 2008 at Portneuf Regional Medical Center.
Paul was born July 11, 1925 in Granite City, Illinois to Raymond Howard Dills and Addie James Dills.
The family moved to Pocatello and soon bought a farm in Chubbuck where Paul and his brother Raymond Lindell Dills spent their childhood.
Paul attended Tyhee Elementary and Irving Junior High. After graduating from Pocatello High School, he attended the University of Idaho Southern Branch in Pocatello, the University of Idaho in Moscow, and Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, CA.
Paul's education and training prepared him for the opportunities and travel of a varied career in all areas and disciplines of construction, design and troubleshooting. He held Journeyman ratings as Master Electrician, Millwright, Sheet Metalist, Machinist and Welder. Paul supervised projects as a General Contractor and Electrical Contractor ranging from Trolley Square in Salt Lake City to coal gasification in Craig Colorado. In addition to being a Construction Generalist he also owned several businesses including a farm in Aberdeen, Idaho.
He was a Master Mason, Shriner and a member of many other civic organizations. Paul married his high school sweetheart Vivian Woolley in Pocatello in 1947.
At Paul's request no funeral services will be held. Donations in memory of Paul may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children.
