Paul Adams, 97, passed away July 19, 2017 in the arms of his wife of 70 years, Verla Adams. Paul was born December 1, 1919 in Nampa, Idaho and raised in Bend, Oregon. He was preceded in death by two sons, Richard and David Adams, and 20 brothers/sisters. He is survived by his wife, Verla Adams; daughter, Carolyn Dunn; daughter-in-law, Ann Adams; son, Ron Adams and wife Noreen; son, Glenn Adams and wife Connie; son, Roger Adams and wife Sheila; brother, Carl Adams; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was foreman of a construction crew during World War II for the Kaiser Ship Yard in Vancouver, Washington. While living in Salmon, Idaho, he was elected Lemhi County Auditor. He moved to Pocatello, Idaho to work for the Idaho State Tax Commission, and then moved to Boise, Idaho for continued employment with the State Tax Commission. Following retirement he moved back to Pocatello. He and Verla spent their winters in Quartzsite, Arizona and summers in Pocatello. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 1:00 pm, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building located at 1700 W. Kinghorn Rd, Pocatello, ID 83202. In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to your favorite charity.
