Patrick Sean Murphy

Patrick Sean Murphy (Sean Patrick Walters) age 26, son of Jena Murphy Langford, died of an accident at his home in Pocatello, Idaho in June 2017. He was born March 13, 1991 in Tucson, Arizona, and moved to Vernal, Utah as a young child, then moved to Rigby, Idaho at 10 years of age. He graduated from Rigby High School in 2009. He loved to read.

Patrick was a member of Boy Scout Troup 15, of Rigby 2nd ward, and achieved the rank of an Eagle Scout. He loved camping and the outdoors. He worked one summer building trails with the Idaho Conservation Corps youth program in the Saw Tooth Mountains above Boise, Idaho.

Patrick is survived by his mother, Jena (and Bret Langford) of Brigham City, Utah; his brothers, David of Salt Lake City, Utah; Gerald (and Hailey) of Logan; Allen (and Rhondelle) of Draper; and Adam (and Leah) of Rexburg; his sisters Jessica (and Eric McEwan) of Rigby, Idaho; and Anne of Nampa, Idaho. His grandmother, Nila Jean Riding of Nacogdoches, Texas. His nephew Troy Skovagard, and niece Bridgette McEwan, as well as many step siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A graveside service and dedication will be held in the Rigby, Idaho Pioneer Cemetery located at 4023 Ririe Highway on July 15, 2017 at 2 pm.
