Patricia Bright Johnson, 86, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2015. She was born April 28, 1928 in Downey, Idaho to Elmer Parley and Mary Emily Taylor Bright. Pat was raised on a farm in Downey and graduated from Downey High School. She married Lyle W. Johnson on August 18, 1947 in Downey. They were later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple. Pat worked in the billing department of Bannock Regional Medical Center in Pocatello for 17 years. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Pat is survived by her children, Karen Johnson, Pocatello, Sandra (Steven) Gates, Herriman Utah, Sheila (Paul) Roberts, Pocatello, Tammy (Jerry) Burkey, Pocatello, Boyd (Jaime) Johnson, Pocatello; a sister, Ilene England, Pocatello; brother, Robert Bright, Pocatello; 22 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle; a son, Scott W. Johnson; and a granddaughter, Emily Johnson. The family would like to thank the caregivers at the Memory Center at Ridge Wind Assisted Living for their loving care. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the LDS Foothill Ward, 225 Oakwood Dr. Pocatello, Idaho 83204. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Colonial Funeral Home 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID 208-233-1500 and from 10 to 10:45 AM Wednesday prior to services at the church. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 2864 S. 5 th Ave. Pocatello, ID 83204. Condolences can be made to the family online at www.colonial-funeralhome.com
