Patricia L. Copeland

Patricia L. Copeland, 73, passed away peacefully in her sleep from a lingering illness on January 29, 2020.

Patricia was born in Annapolis, Maryland to Berniece Mae (Calhoon) and Edward Albert Osgood. She attended high school in Sylmar, California. She served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. She has lived in California, Wisconsin, Arizona, Oregon, and Idaho.

Patricia married Ben Copeland, and they became the parents of April. They were later divorced.

Patricia loved to read fantasy books, The Beatles, cooking, and cuddling her grandchildren. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and resided in the Riverside Ward.
Patricia is survived by her daughter, April (Dallan) Woodland, of Pocatello; her four grandchildren, Zaphriel "Zappy", Kaylee, River, and Alistair; her brother, Lon Osgood; and nephew, Marc Osgood, both of Oregon.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Berniece Osgood and Edward Osgood; a sister, Elaine Yost; and a brother, Roger Osgood.
Patricia's wishes were to not have public funeral services. Her family will plan a private event to honor their mother and grandmother.
