Pamala Dian Brown Cothren, born on August 10, 1956, in Nampa, Idaho, passed away surrounded by her family at the age of 68 on October 25, 2024, in Pocatello, Idaho.

Pamala graduated from Pocatello High School, Class of 1975, and went on to earn two associate degrees in medical science and office administration. In 1972, she had the unique opportunity to participate as an exchange student, spending several weeks in Japan. This experience left a lasting impression on her, and she fondly shared her gratitude for the opportunities it provided throughout her life.

Devoted to her family, Pamala’s greatest joy came from her three sons: Joshua Cothren (Jeanne); Shawn Cothren; and Jimmy Cothren (Cinnamon). She was a strong supporter of the Boy Scouts of America, proudly watching as each of her sons achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Pamala cherished spending time outdoors and camping with her family, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Pamala also loved cooking and baking, filling her home with warmth and delicious meals for family gatherings. Her creativity shone through in her beautiful cross-stitch projects and her talent for scrapbooking. She is survived by her mother, Donna D. Brown; her sons; her brothers, Francis Brown Jr., Randall Brown, and Thomas Brown (Vina); daughters-in-law; sister-in-law; niece, Stephanie L. James; and eight grandchildren: Jesse, Jeremiah, Ashlynn, Aiden, Rowen, Kashlyn, Axten, and River. She was preceded in death by her father, Francis Brown Sr.

Pamala's warmth, kindness, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire her family and friends.
