Oddie Risingmoon Chacon

Odious Risingmoon Chacon was born in Pocatello, Idaho on August 18, 2021 to Jenna and Zach Chacon. He passed away on January 5, 2023.

Oddie had the most beautiful eyes and curly hair. His middle name is a reminder that in dark times you must look up and see the hope in the light.

He was given the nickname “Oddie” by his mom and dad. They were playing with him, and it popped up in their head. It stuck and he loved it ever since. He would give you a stink look if you said his legal name.

He made an impact on everyone who met him, and the thousands that never will.

His favorite things in the whole world were his mama and dadda, his big brothers, balloons and food. We used to joke that if he was upset, he was probably just hangry.

Oddie’s life was cut short due to complications from RSV and other viruses that he tried so fiercely to overcome. He was surrounded by his parents every day along the way.

As of the day he left our world he was survived by his parents Jenna and Zach Chacon and his brothers Aiden Edmo, August Guzman-Chacon, and Ryker Perkins.

We love you Oddie, and always will.

A Burn-Out will take place Friday, January 13, 2023 from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm at Finesse Diesel Performance, 1185 W Alameda Road, Pocatello, ID.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck, ID 83202, with a viewing one hour prior beginning at 2:00 pm.

Following the service, family and friends are invited on a procession cruise from Wilks Funeral Home to Rumors Pub, 2227 Garrett Way, Pocatello, ID 83201.
