Norma “Tootie” Lee Urban, 90, passed away on October 19, 2024.
She was born in Junction City, Ohio on December 17, 1933. She owned and operated several small businesses in multiple states. She retired to Overton, Nevada.
She enjoyed 56 years of wedded bliss to the love of her life, Charles Todd Urban.
Norma belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star and was a member of the Lutheran Church.
She spent her winters in Overton, Nevada and her summers in Pocatello, Idaho with family and grandkids. She loved playing slots and bingo. In her younger years, she loved sewing, quilting and playing cards.
She is survived by two sons, Chuck Urban of Winnemucca, NV and Mike Urban of Pocatello, ID; siblings, Tom (Gail) Gottke of Junction City, OH, Kay (James) Wood of Junction City, OH, Connie (Jack) Miller of Junction City, OH, Roger Gottke of Zanesville, OH, Donna Johnson of Lancaster, OH, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Todd Urban; parents, Chester and Fern Gottke; brother, Rolland Gottke; and sisters, Bonnie Gottke and Rebecca Moore.
A celebration of life will be held in Overton, NV at a later date. She chose to be buried next to her husband, Charles “Todd” Urban in Overton, NV.
