Norma Devore

CHUBBUCK-Norma DeVore, 85, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at a local health care facility. Norma was born to Norris and Margaret (Kalin) Lund in Donaldson, Minnesota. She lived in a farm house with her 5 brothers and 8 sisters until she was sixteen years of age. Norma was married to Floyd DeVore for 53 years before he passed away in 2008. She was employed with the U.S. Post Office in Hayward, California for twenty years retiring and moving to Pocatello, Idaho. With an outgoing personality she loved talking to and meeting new people. She loved going out for walks with her dogs as well as taking them to the park above her home. Norma had lots of family in Minnesota and California. Norma is survived by he two sons, Michael DeVore of Chubbuck, Idaho and Jeffrey Devore of Aberdeen, Idaho; six sisters, Phyllis Borg, Gloria Graybow, Geraldine Swanson, Patsy Erickson and Joy Montague all of Minnesota, sisters, Sandra Nucilelli of Maryland and Karen Lingholm of Michigan; brothers, Donald, John and Barry Lund all of Minnesota; Grandson, Devin DeVore of Chubbuck, Idaho and granddaughter, Guadalupe DeVore of Aberdeen, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norris and Margaret; husband, Floyd; son, Patrick DeVore; brothers, Russell and Dennis Lund and sister, Anita Milam. As per Norma's wishes, cremation will take place. There are no services planned for Norma at this time.
