Nettie Adair, 28, of Pocatello, passed away on February 10, 2013. She was born on November 7, 1984, in Butte, MT, to Alan and Denise Adair. After her parents passed away when Nettie was very young, she was raised by her mother's sister and her husband Deborah (Hughes) and Donald Sprankel. She grew up mostly in Pocatello and spent only a few of her school years in Deer Lodge, MT. After graduation she returned to Pocatello where she has lived ever since. Nettie loved camping and fishing and the outdoors. She loved her pit bulls and taking them on hikes whenever she could. She had a gift with pit bulls and was always able to raise well mannered dogs. She was blessed with her daughter Kiah Harris in 2008. Kiah was the light of her life and everything Nettie did was for her. Kiah was her world. Nettie was a very giving person with a huge heart and she was always willing to help those in need. Her home was always a welcomed place for people who needed a place to stay. She is survived by her daughter Kiah; sister Tiffani Adair of Kansas City, MO; sister Jennifer Dawson of Pocatello; brother Phillip Hughes of Pocatello; parents Deborah and Donald of Pocatello; grandfather Richard T. Ware "Whitey" of Lake View, MO; grandparents Lois and Gordy Adair of Boise; and also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her biological parents, her grandmother Lois Ware, and a brother, Derek Rey Adair, who passed away at birth. A gathering of friends and family will be held as an informal service from 12 pm to 2 pm on Saturday, February 16, 2013, at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted at a trust fund set up in Kiah's name at Citizens Community Bank.
