Ned Kemp Feltman, age 73, died early Tuesday morning at Portneuf Medical Center West in Pocatello, Idaho. He was born to Matthew Lewis and Flora Larena (Kemp) Feltman. Ned was the third of four children of a blended family. Raised and was a graduate from high school in Richmond, Utah. He served in the US Army during the Korean war era. After being honorably discharged he moved to Pocatello where he went to work for FMC. Ned worked 47 years for FMC, most of the time as a lab specialist, retiring from FMC in 1997. Ned married Diane Finch on January 17, 1983 in Elko, Nevada. They had five children; Jeannie, Laurel, Bobby, Rick Gary. Diane preceded him in death on December 6, 2006. Ned was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved fishing, hunting traveling. He also liked reading western novels, bird watching, and pretty much anything to do with nature. Ned had an infectious laugh and easy going personality and enjoyed hanging out with friends. He attended all types of sporting events, especially for his grand kids. Ned is survived by his children; Jeannie (Ged) Miner of Tooele, Utah, Laurel Aikin of Pocatello, Idaho, Bobby Anderson of Boise, Idaho, Rick Anderson of Pocatello, Idaho and Gary Anderson of Oklahoma; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and siblings. Funeral services for Ned will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 South 4th Avenue, Pocatello, Idaho. The family will welcome friends at a visitation on Saturday morning from 12:30 pm to service time at the funeral home. Military Honors by the Pocatello Veterans Honor Guard will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
