Nathaniel Jay Ish

Nathaniel Jay Ish, 60, passed away on February 17, 2025. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Nathaniel went to Sho Ban High School in Fort Hall, Idaho and graduated from Kearns High School in West Valley, Utah. 

He enjoyed traveling to Florida and he has lived in Texas and Tacoma Washington. 

Nathaniel and his life partner, April Eschief, have two beautiful sons, Demetres and Nathaniel Ish. 

Nathaniel loves doing beadwork, he even made his very own dance outfit, he loved working with his hands doing carpentry, renovations, and auto mechanics. He was a Jack of all trades.

A special mention to the Sho-Ban Tribes; Aunt Marlene Skunkcap, James's Skunkcap, Luwana Skunkcap, Rainelle Edmo, Deaun Potts, Melinda Potts, Leona Jim, Collene Edmo, Cooks: Hippo, Wendy, Zelda and Jamie; many other relatives; Anthony, Valerie and Anna Ballard; and his family in Texas.

Services will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 1-3 pm at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Rd. Chubbuck, Idaho.
